North Central Illinois | Honestly, we have a ten year old 3180 that has been trouble free other than a few friction discs on the slip clutches and replacing the CV joint on the driveline a couple of years ago. What is supposed to be so horrible about them? This mower will easily last another ten years. Now granted we really only use it for roadsides but it has been over a lot of miles. I think there are people that use and abuse batwings pretty hard in other applications. In that case maybe the Bushhog is better but for roadsides the old 3180 is very adequate. At one time the Bushhog was more expensive. | |
