Subject: Re: Building a Tri-axle grain truck-front or rear pusher

We have an IH truck with 22' box and have pusher. Get along fine, but wish we would have put it on rear. Turning radius is poor. Biggest problem is with pusher we have too much weight on front axle. Basically load truck from rear of box to front, and stop when grain is 12-18" on front wall to be legal. DOT checks both your axle ratings and tire weight capacity, so you need a heavy front axle along with load matching tires. Just FYI.
