southern saskatchewan | Living along the canadian pacific main line we are experiencing lots of fires starting along the track. On a windy day a couple weeks ago one really took off. Never see before how fast the fire travelled across a field that was pastured off compared to fields that had tall grass. Seems like where the grass is tall there will be lots of heat and hard to get near to put out and where there is little heat and wind it will be hard to catch. | |
