There would be a savings on tractor hours and fuel. I would also agree that with a new or newer drill and the ability to get the job done faster is worth a higher custom rate. Are the customers willing to pay more? Is there a possibility to pick up more acres? Will they go elsewhere if he doesn't buy a wider drill? Questions to answer. |
