40ft would sure get it done alot faster, which can really help in a year of inclimate weather. More importantly will the customer's go to another custom outfit, if he doesn't? Ultimately if 3500 acres of custom work should pay for a bigger drill fairly easily over a few years, get a couple year old drill and say a few bucks...
