Subject: CIH 8950 Magnum HID Lites

NW MN Strathcona

OK, got tired of crappy lights on my tractor. Ordered some HID lites from Quantilutions,

got 4 55 Watt HID Full Flood for the rear,

2 55 Watt HID Spot for in front on top of cab,

and 2 35 Watt Full Flood for the belt line.

All bolt on with 1/4" Aluminum angle for brackets and made a couple of wire extensions from the factory belt line lights to the bracket on front weights.

They did kill the FM radio reception, so I added an antenna filter and power filter, but still have some EMI on the FM band from the lights.

At least a person can see farther then 50 foot at night.  Did not do anything with the lites in the hood, as the lenses need cleaned and polished to get rid of the yellow.
