do NOT get an Ariens. After about 5 years on ours ( 34" deck) the frame snapped right in half between the engine and seat. Fixed it myself by putting square steel in the frame, hammering it back together and welding it up tight. Looks like new, but was a major pain. I see a lot of people using grasshoppers. They sound like pretty good mowers.
