Don't remember if they came from HF or another bargain tool sale, but likely the same tool.
Reworked them this morning, we cut off those ball end jaws and replaced them with flat ones made from two 7/16 X 1.25 inch rod stubs.
Makes a pretty decent working tool now, even when I intentionally misalign the jaws as much as possible, there is no hint of "tip over".
About 10 minutes of shop time makes them a useable welding tool. :-)
