A friend of mine works for an equipment manufacturer (non farm). They were getting a new product ready to take to a trade show and one of the big bosses asked if they put a patent number on it. My friend said no we don't have a patent yet. The big boss said I don't care make up a number and put it on there.
Anyone ever patent a piece of machinery?
