You could check with an industrial bearing supply and see if they can order from Martin Sprocket and Gear. I have an old catalog and it does list a 41A40 which is a type A (flat)40 tooth sprocket with a half inch pitch(41 chain). Outside dia of 6.650 stock bore 23/32 width .227
I'm sure there are other gear companies that supply them as well.
