![](http://www.newagtalk.com/mapdots/jonhagen.jpg) Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Both of my 15 ft 750's cracked on the top corners. It's a bad design with those heavy stiffener plates at the ends of the boxes, the stiffeners concentrate all the box flex at the edges of those plates and causes the cracks,(pics drill 9-10) plus those plates make it really difficult to totally fill the ends of the box.
The cracks plus all the overlapping, unsealed sheetmetal that forms the top of the boxes, makes for a leaky top that always has moisture in the seed and fertilizer.
A few years ago we cut the entire cracked and rusted tops out of ours and replaced them with new one piece shop fabricated tops and lids, with no end stiffener plates.
No more wet seed / fertilizer, no more cracks and no more problem completely filling the boxes.
