NC ND | Can you turn the compressor head 180 degrees? I seem to remember doing this quite a few years ago on a bendix reman but not 100% sure.
The detroit # is $1500 and bendix is around $400 but now only comes with the head on wrong for my application. I don't think I have ever bought a genuine detroit compressor before but it has 5 years or better since I last changed one.
Shop I was at thought it could be switched, they called in and the company said it would void warrenty and politely said it was the stupidest thing they have ever heard, besides that it would not work. | |
