| Has anyone ever tried to mount some cultivator shanks between the front and rear gangs on a disc? The reason I'm asking is that i'd like to move a little more dirt to level on each pass, I have some really rough fields. It would sorta be like a cultivator with a gang to level in the rear. I was thinking of placing 6 or 8 shanks in between, with mounts welded to the frame. Will it work,or is it a waste of time? The ground would prob not be worked prior to hitting it with the disc, could hit it with a chisel though. | |
