Was wondering how people like to pull heavy draft loads like a chisel plow. Which is the right way? Do you leave the throttle wide open while pulling or do you set the max engine speed to where the peak HP rating and operate it there and gear up. Me and some others had a disagreement about this as I think it is more efficient to throttle back and gear up, or at least that was how I was taught.
