nc IA | My #1 SCV on my 4430 broke yesterday (fell during removal to install powerbeyond block and broke the casting). my tractor is a "early" model for the SCV, does anyone know if a late series SCV will fit in it's place and match up (bolts pattern and O-ring / port pattern).
My part number is R40499 (tractor serial 56655R, a 76 model)
I have called 3 yards today (abeline, worthington, all states) and only one has a bare housing available, that housing is a late 30 series or 40 series, which has a part number of R65284. Will it work?
If it won't, I'm stuck tommorow morning ordering a complete rebuilt SCV from one of the yards it looks like.
