Deereman I have a 1000XT that I bought last fall. Zero troubles. I would purchase extra warrantyjust due to the fact that any parts for recreation are not cheap. So it could be money well spent. Also know that all extended warranty that is sold the dealer makes a percentage. So they may cut you a deal on the ext warranty.
