I doubt that capacity will be much of an issue as the main use of this little auger will be to feed a 7" Sakundiak raised to max height. Doubt the big auger will come close to keeping up with the little guy. Sure hope plugging doesn't become an issue though. I guess we'll see. I may have to take your advise and build another one like you mention.
