Kaukauna WI | We do it, NEI D-man. Have been for 14 years. We have no feed/labor/buildings for heifers. We turned our heifer facilities into dry cow facilities when we got too many cows.
We pay by the day. He has them from 3 months to 22 months. Sometimes rocky, but for the most part we make it work. Sometimes I think he doesn't feed them enough but then next bunch will come in looking good. A few times some come back at 22 months open. Some die. Stuff happens. | |
