Columbia City, Indiana | I use Moorman's IGR blocks, they help a lot with horn flies. I put them in a barrel with a big hole cut in the side. In the opening, I hang 2 fly bullets that they sell at TSC, and I soak those weekly in Insecticide. They stick their head in the barrel to lick the block, and the insecticide smears all over their faces and around their eyes. I tried cutting it with diesel fuel, but since the rubs contact their faces it seemed they avoided them because of the diesel smell. I never had luck getting them to walk under the rub, but I only tried it once. I also use fly tags in the calves. 1 on each calf. The package says to use 2, but I think they're just trying to sell more tags.
