central sask | Personal experience says you should have left the u-joint out and kept it a straight through auger. The Johnson design transfer augers can out do the knuckle style by as much as 3 to 1 in fertilizer and tough crops. they may be a little harder to get under some things but are generaly easier to move around the farm and cleanout is way better . Add the time spent unplugging and you will only run straight transfers. | |
