Subject: 28' van trailer. How many tanks and how much water?

Baldwin City, KS
We are going to make a more or less back roads sprayer tender out of a 12 year old 28' van trailer. The truck line we are getting it from said 825# per linear ft is their rule. Shop foreman said it should hold considerably more weight, but hated to give me an uninformed answer. I see lot's of guys using these for sprayer water. How much weight should we be able to safely haul with out destroying the trailer?
