Subject: post frame shop on concrete wall

SE WI
Ok so a while back I asked a few ?s about a shop & pouring walls/footings. I have the footings dug and ready to pour them and then the walls. Walls are going to be 8" thick and will be 8" above FF one one side and 56" above FF on the other. I want to set brackets to support the 3 ply 2x6 posts in the concrete instead of drilling anchors. The post frame guy sells 2 different brackets. (1) shaped like a "U" to saddle the post with 4 straight pcs or rebar welded to the bottom that will set straight in the wall, or (2) a 4' pc of 5" wide "c" channel with 2 chunks of 6" rebar welded perpendicular to the c channel that would get set in about 16" in the wall, the post then gets bolted to the flat side of the channel.
I like the channel type but am not sure having only 1.5" of concrete on each side of the channel, I guess I'm just worried about the concrete cracking. Thoughts?
ps will post pics when i get time
