mn | heres my system....
when doing shovels... guy under replacing with cordless impact... if come to one with bad bushing.... 1/2 drive cordless impact 3/4 socket. unscrew the spring let it hang.... take top nut off... will need visegrip to hold the bolt.... take off bar and throw it out the back.... on to the next....
when you get done doing the shovels that are good.... then you go to work on the bushings....
3/4 impact 3/4 wrench. 1/2 punch to remove old bushing.. hammer...
put new one in
and snug everyothing up but still be able to move the top bracket... carry to general area of digger and get it close to the original home.... on to the next....
also good to have spare parts around. sometimes the bracket gets egged out from a bad bushing... also the bolts.
good pair of impact mechanix gloves are nice and some knee pads....
it is a hatefull job but when you are done you know you are done for another year.... hopefully.
have fun..... literally
