I don't think so that is 1.62 watts In 48 hrs that would be less than 7 amp/hrs which should not drain a battery. You should be close to zero volts when hooked between the neg terminal and the frame with a volt meter,if not you have current flow thus a drained down battery. sounds like you may have a battery with an internal short.
