SW Saskatchewan		Make sure it is well below freezing- otherwise respiration or sun heating may raise temperature enough to induce spoiling.

Neighbour has had luck making "snowballs" with an old chain style NH baler when a salvage operation was needed.

Cold temps and included "cooler" kept the bales for when they could be fed.
