Try not to get discouraged if the first round doesn't take. Our daughter and son in law went through 2 IVF cycles before one of the embryos made it all the way. I forget how many were implanted. Our little granddaughter made it here by a wing and a prayer being born early at 3lbs 6 oz.
They tried unsuccessfully again on a 3rd round and don't plan to try again. It's now appears certain that we'll have only one grandchild.

She has just turned 3 years old and is very special to the family.
