| I just started taking Topamax (100mg). My doctor prescribed it for a condition other than migraines, but in studying the literature I learned that it is used to prevent those incapacitating headaches as well. Once the migraine has begun to set in, the Topamax will not relieve it, but regular use of it is supposed to prevent the headache from occurring. I suffered from migraines about 20 years ago, and a nutritionist suggested I switch to drinking distilled water. I did. I can count on one hand the number of migraines I've had since. Prayers for healing coming your dad's way! | |
