Subject: RE: The situation is over......for now.........

As a former private, parochial school principal, a college professor, and a current high-school English teacher, my question is simply this: Did you speak with the teacher in question first? I have seen a plethora of potentially volatile situations neutralized with one sincere conversion between the parties involved. I learned a long time ago that there is no substitute for honest and open communication between parents and teachers. At every parent conference, I always tell the parents, "If you don't believe everything you hear about me, I won't believe everything I hear about you." Just a suggestion, limit the discussion to those involved and all, most importantly your child, will benefit. Blessings to you all.
