Kaukauna WI | Ya, that's what I was thinking but they all get a magnet 2 months before freshening. Not all things are caught by a magnet, I understand.
By the time the vet got there, it was apparent that she was gonna die. She went downhill that fast once we called the vet. He suggested penicillin in case it was clostridium, banamine, dexamethasone and lasix. Like a fool I gave all these things and she died right afterwards. Good thing none of those things are very expensive. She did not have that bubble-wrap feel to her hide. Extremely uncomfortable. I never sawanything like it in my 28 years of dairying. Vet did get a chance to rectal her before she went down and she was not gassed up at all & he said she felt normal inside. | |
