South Central Kansas | Make sure push bolts are tight and JACK UP THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACTOR. Next get the biggest hammer you have and stand flat footed on the ground and smack the side you are trying to get loose You will drive the wedge and the axle out of the casting. The wedge is stuck on the axle and until you drive it out of the casting it is NOT going to let loose of that axle. Trust me it works I have done lots of them works every time. I have done many of them that others have tried for days to get loose using many of the methods discussed on this forum. Until you jack up the other side of the tractor and leave the side you are trying to get loose on the ground hitting axle with a hammer is almost futile. | |
