We have had about 5 snakes in the 48 years we have lived here. Small snakes, 2 in the living room, 2 in hall , 1 kitchen. Last one, I was gone, she stepped on its head, didn't know what to do, daughter-in law walked in, picked it up, then killed it. We had a big snake tree, hollow Maple, that use to be home to some big snakes. When we took it out, the snake problem kind of went away. Bats, moth balls, and a 12 gauge skeet gun, controls that problem.
This is never good - snakes in the utility room ! Yukk ~
