SW Iowa | How many miles on the truck, how many times has it been ran out of fuel, gelled up, etc? Have you ever had any water in fuel problems? Most of the time I have had a C12/3176/3196 that would not start without a little sniff of either ended up getting a set of injectors to repair the problem. Also the customer would then report that power was noticably better after new injectors too, due to wear and damage.
However, I would make sure that you are getting 250 rpms, or the computer will not fire injectors. If its 180-200 it will likely not start, but the ether is kicking the speed up just enough for the ECM to see enough speed to fire injectors. | |
