| My neighbor has a older grader with 14' blade. I can move more dirt with my Icon 16' blade and Magnum 245 than he can. His grader will slide off to the side easier than mine. I have more traction than he does as well. 1 less engine/tranny ect that I need to maintain. If I was planning on doing a lot of grading, than the dedicated grader would probably get my vote. Advantage of a grader is looking forward rather than backward with rear blade.
Both Hygrade and Icon blades are similar. IMHO, the bigger block of cement in the back, the better both will work. | |
