Subject: RE: opinions on red vs. green sprayers

Southeastern, PA. 30 miles west of Phila

I have two 2007 4420's that have AIM, Integra's and just put Ag Leader auto-steer on them this year. This year I also started running a 2009 4930. Both brands are awesome machines. I really like JD's integrations, and there 100' boom is much more stable than the 4420's 90' boom. I wish I could take the spring in the JD boom and put it on the case. Noise levels are very similar between the two.

If I had to choose today, I would probably lean towards another JD.

I also have a two year old 3330. That is quieter than the 4420 and MUCH quieter than the JD 4830!

I have run some other brands and so far none have come close to what JD or case has to offer. So at the end of the day choose a machine that is equipped with GPS equipment that is similar to the rest of your operation and has a dealer that you enjoy doing business with.

my 2 cents,

Merlin
