NE AR | Years ago I saw a self propelled grain cart that was built on a 4wd Case tractor, like a 4890. The cart was a 500 bu name brand, maybe J&M. The tractor had been stretched and the steering changed up with some linkage instead of the hydraulic crab steering. It has sat at Marion, AR for years and recently I saw it loaded on a trailer. It looked professionally built. Does anyone know if there was a company that tried building these or was this a one off farmer built rig? Always thought this would be a ultimate cart rig but now a 500 bu cart is not big enough here. Oh yeah, seems like the cab had been offset to one side also. | |
