Subject: Re: spreading deep bedded barn manure

Eleva, WI
We have a 9524 mounted on a Kenworth truck. We have the S-100 attachment for spreading compost & manure at lower rates. We also have the silage extensions and use it for hauling silage in the summer. We wanted a bigger spreader, and the plan was to spread some on just harvested hay ground. It's been a great spreader for this, last fall we put on about 3 ton per acre after fourth crop. We do have the scales, and run rate control and guidance with a Trimble FMx. Haven't gotten it set up to auto steer yet. I will try to post some pictures from spreading this past January when things thawed out.
