North Central Iowa | I have 600 hd capacity split 60/40 in two older buildings and each building has a 3 ton bin. 5 ton of feed delivered when pigs are 50-60 lbs still lasts 5-7 days. I would think you could get by fine with the 2) 6ton bins, but take into account if the 9ton bins will save you any money over time. I also have finishing on site so I can usually fill the rest of a truck with that. 3) 9ton bins is definate over kill/waste of money. | |
