NW Iowa | I am planning on planting some in one cattle yard when the chance of frost is out of the picture. It would be my bucket calves grazing on it (Jan calves). Would it be safe for them to eat? I was alway under the impression that if it didn't freeze or get to mature it was safe. Had someone tell me that wanted to plant it for sheep that it wasn't safe for sheep or young cattle. Bought the seed last summer and didn't get it planted so would like to use it this year if possible. Thanks for the input. | |
