Kaukauna WI | Good points, yongfarmer. I would say the same re: local banks. If you get into a bind who might cut you a check in a hurry? Not the gov't. Slow as molasses in January. I would need a financial relationship with a real person, myself, having gone through several bad stretches. They cut us a break several times. All we had to do was ask. Interest only for a few years, just ask.
In any case, Deere would have to first try at a local bank or Farm Credit and get turned down before being eligible for a FSA loan. | |
