northwest tennessee | I think we all push for what we really want to happen. I am around some feeder calf people and they are always talking the market lower and it does look like it is headed there now but part of me is still thinking this is the weakness that we should have seen in feb and it will be back. I am a cow calf guy so I want the market to stay higher. Feeder calf guys are on the buying end more than the selling and can lock in a profit on the board most times and do. That being said they want a lower market to buy in so they feel like they got a deal on the buying end. A cow calf guy is in the market and not going anywhere really and likes to see it stay firm and wants to believe that is what is going to happen. We kind of have ours necks out waiting for them to be cut I guess. I have said all of this to get to this point. If the market does not go down Garvo I think you will be disappointed. hehe I do wonder if it can be as optimistic as Mark says too but guess I like to dream. | |
