western iowa,by Denison
ak-47,the walls are 8 inch's wide-we just drilled rerod in the 6-7inch floor and set the walls afterwords-usually just throw angle iron in the wall for my uprights-If I know Im hanging a gate-i put the tube in about 1 ft and pour-on picture47 we wanted a latch stop so we just used a flat iron and bolted it to the concrete wall and guard rail-for a yard fence this way works great as I can run my skid loader along the wall to clean-for loading, crowding our working wild cattle the wall is great to step up and outa the way-have had some cattle that we just walk along the wall to stay out of there flight pattern-most of the time we try to stay behind gates, but this wall really helps get you out of the way and is not that costly to build-I absolutly hate the sucker rod and pipe method-after you work with guard rail you wonder what took you so long to figure it out?
