| Not sure if the Mailbu still offers the 4 speed with the 4 cyl or just the 6 speed automatic transmission. When the wife got hers in '09 it was an option. We went with the 2.4 and 6 speed. It is slower than the v6 for sure but it is tolerable and the 6 speed made it much much better. I like the drivetrain but for me the car is a little small. My wife thinks she is trying out for NASCAR and complains she should have got the V6. I like the 2.4 fine. With her racing, I mean driving, the car averages 25 with about an even split of town and highway driving. If you stay on the highway we have seen mileage in the mid 30s. If I were to buy again I would still get the 2.4 with the 6 speed. | |
