I have an 1890 drill. Try to grease 4-500 acres or rainy days. 6 year old drill and all zerks take grease. Just finished rebuilding drill ( disks, bored + bushings on boots, etc) and all pivot pts slid apart easily. Me thinks who ever told you not to grease wanted you to trade drills often. :-)
