Yes, it's all that I expected and more. My farthest field from the radio tower is 3 3/4 miles. I've been using a Honda 4-wheeler for surveying with the radio antenna mounted on the front rack. Still had good signal @ 4 miles away. I'd expect even better range with the antenna mounted on the roof of the tractor. The advantages of flat, treeless farm location.
