Subject: RE: Question for you

High Springs, Florida

Puff, I recommend the yellow variety, Honey Select. It is an SE/SH2 mix. Seems to grow like field corn, and takes the heat well. Another good variety that is a bi-color is Montauk.  I have tried growing the Gourmet Sweets, like 277A and they do not take the heat well, stalks stunt and ears do not pollinate well.

Seed available from seedway.com. Good luck,  and let me know what you plant!
