The Exmark mowers are reliable but I think they ride very rough and are crude for what they cost. The Grasshopper is a pretty good mower also but has gotten quite pricey. I like the idea Ferris has with the independent suspension but we don't have a dealer anywhere near here. Same with Dixie Chopper. I wouldn't know where to buy one. There are a couple of others like Swisher and Bad Boy. The Bad Boy will mow grass but will beat you to death. The ones I've seen have a little Cat-Perkins diesel which would be pretty sweet. I have a 2009 Kubota ZD326 diesel with 60" deck. Has been trouble free and mow great at any speed and rides really nice. A manufacturesd deck versus a stamped deck is mandatory as far as I'm concerned. I think all of the mowers mentioned have manufactured decks with the possible exception of the smaller Exmarks. With the bigger mowers I much prefer a diesel too. I don't know anything about the Toro mowers.
