Sawzall and leave a few inches, seems to be about 50/50 whether you'll hit any blood or not. I've seen both either way it isn't a big deal, if really worried about the bleeding take a torch and a piece of steel and cauterize. A cordless sawzall takes all of 2 seconds to get a horn off, you'll need someone else to hold the ear out of the way so you don't take it too.
