Subject: Re: Using a credit card for farming?

Northern CA
I use a cc every place that will allow me without paying a surcharge. Then, I take the points and cash them out. I then save them for when my wife and I want to go on a trip and use their money. I have a fairly high limit on my cards, especially my Chase card. I requested a substantial increase a year ago, and then representative said she would submit the request. A day later a woman from Chase called and asked why I wanted the large raise, and I explained to her how I wanted to put my farm expenses on it and a number of auto-pays, and she did it right then. It has been great. Also, with Chase and Discover, I always get an American that speaks good English. I cannot say the same about Capital One. For that reason, I rarely ever use that card.
