I've noticed a few problems along this line with other brands of equipment.  The jagged pictures seem to usually be related to some type of incorrect GPS offset.

We had one once on a combine yield monitor where the setup indicated that the head was at the rear of the combine.  Once the correct offset for the head was entered the screen depection became correct and the "tail wagging" disappeared.
