Galahad, Alberta | plowboy, my "don't bash" line was intended to encourage people to post constructive comments, both pro and con. I didn't want people to say "how stupid" or "what an idiot", but I guess that kind of kills the conversation, doesn't it?
I could see lots of potential drawbacks and problems with a cart attached to the back of a combine, but I didn't feel qualified to post them, as I don't harvest corn, which I think is about the only place something like this is needed. I agree that he doesn't gain anything by having the combine stop to unload, it does eliminate the grain cart and operator, and associated compaction, for what that's worth. But with the cost of his inventions, you can buy a lot of grain carts and tractors. | |
